Environmental Impact

While filmmaking is a process which is known to consume a lot of power (through use of computers, charging of batteries, etc.) we try to balance this as much as possible. We take our environmental impact seriously and work with our clients to find the most climate friendly approach to filmmaking. For example, we donate monthly to a local farm to fund the planting of trees, in an effort toward rewilding. When travelling to jobs, we use public transport when possible and when not possible, use carpooling. All our vehicles are ULEZ (Ultra Low Emission Zone) compliant. We try to reduce physical waste in our office by using reusable cleaning products and recycle where possible. Much of the video content we produce promotes sustainability, from a series for Northumberland County Council on swapping the car for cycling, to a video for Creative Space Management on the sustainability features of their building, the Core. We therefore hope that our work has a positive impact on audiences’ attitudes towards climate change. We are constantly looking for new ways to further lower our carbon emissions as our company grows and adapts and are always open to any suggestions on how we can do so.

We prioritise the wellbeing of all team members by allowing regular breaks and ensuring all workstations are ergonomically sound. Workspaces are open, clean and organised to ensure pleasant working conditions. Where employees need additional support we are always ready to have honest, open discussions in order to find a solution.
